The Cube Controls CSX-3 is a Formula sim racing wheel with a 4" full-colour LCD touchscreen, a 100% carbon fibre front plate and a CNC aluminium body, compatible with PC, for drivers who demand racing-grade precision in single-seaters and endurance.

The third generation of Cube Controls' most beloved Formula wheel, the CSX-3 combines completely renovated electronics, a magnetic Q-CONN connection, RGB LEDs and dashboards configurable through SimHub, and zero-play switchless magnetic paddles. With a 282 mm diameter aimed at single-seaters, it accepts an extra paddle set in carbon fibre to expand its functions.

Compatibility

The CSX-3 works with PC via a magnetic Q-CONN connection and full control through SimHub (dedicated plugin required); it is not compatible with consoles. It mounts on any direct drive wheelbase through a Formula-type quick release (70 mm PCD, 3 bolts, not included), and its VR-friendly design keeps every control within reach when using virtual reality headsets.

Is the Cube Controls CSX-3 compatible with consoles?

No. The CSX-3 works only with PC via a magnetic Q-CONN connection and is managed through SimHub; it has no PlayStation or Xbox compatibility.

What is the difference between the 4 and 6 paddle versions?

The 4-paddle version includes the shifter set and the clutch set. The 6-paddle version adds an optional third pair of carbon fibre paddles, meant for assigning extra functions (for example a second clutch or additional controls).

Do I need a quick release and a base to use it?

Yes. The CSX-3 attaches via a Formula-type quick release (70 mm PCD, 3 bolts) that is not included, and it is compatible with direct drive wheelbases using that mounting.

Is the display touch and customisable?

Yes. It integrates a 4" full-colour LCD touchscreen (800 × 480 px). Through SimHub you configure the dashboards, on-screen telemetry and the behaviour of the RGB LEDs (dedicated plugin required).

Is it VR-friendly?

Yes. The CSX-3 has a VR-friendly design: the layout of buttons and controls lets you operate it easily while wearing virtual reality headsets.
